A schoolboy has penned a letter to councillors listing his concerns about a new Tesco.
Billybob Penn, 12, is one of more than 200 people who have objected to the retailer’s plans for a supermarket off Halstead High Street.
Greenfields Community Housing, which owns Symonds Court sheltered housing complex in St Andrew’s Road, one of two access roads to Tesco, has also objected to the plans.
Daniel Allen, director of property services, asked for confirmation the supermarket development will not have an adverse impact on existing and future tenants.
