Cash stolen in Hythe house raid

THIEVES stole cash from a house in the Hythe area of Colchester.
The break-in occurred in Vegas Close between 8am and 9am on Monday.
Cash worth thousands in both British and foreign currency was taken after raiders forced open a set of patio doors at the property.
Anyone with information in connection with this burglary is urged to contact detectives at Colchester police station on 101.
