Teen suffers head injuries in High Street assault

TEENAGER required surgery after a vicious assault in the High Street.
The 18-year-old victim, from Colchester, was punched in the face, near the George Hotel, at 3.30am on Sunday.
The victim was taken to hospital and currently in a neurological intensive therapy unit where his condition on Tuesday was described as serious but stable.
A suspect was last seen running off along Maidenburgh Street.
