Mersea intruder suspect caught on camera
CAN you identify this suspected have-a-go thief caught on CCTV in West Mersea?
Detectives are investigating a break-in at Grove Avenue, West Mersea on November 17.
They hope the suspect's distinctive backpack could hold the key to his identity.
The intruder forced open a ground-floor window of a house, shortly before midday.
It is believed he got away empty handed.
The suspected burglar is described as white, approximately 5ft 9ins tall, of slim build and was wearing a dark, hooded anorak and dark trousers.
Anyone with information should contact Colchester police on 101.
