THE proposed route of a new trail through Colchester’s Old Port will be unveiled this weekend.
Colchester Council, using European Union funding, has hired designers Dallas Pierce Quintero to make the Hythe a tourist attraction.
This Saturday, people are invited to drop in at the Station Cafe in Hythe Station Road between 11am to 1pm to hear how the project is developing.
They can then walk a route which the council is proposing to upgrade with signs and history boards before enjoying mince pies at the Colne Light Ship.
