Last Samaritans book fair this weekend

COLCHESTER Samaritans are holding their last book fair of the year this weekend.
Their headquarters, Walsingham Road Community Hall, off Southway, Colchester, is the venue for tomorrow’s cash-only Christmas sale.
In addition to a wide selection of pre-loved books, there will be a tea and cake stall.
Admission to the sale, which runs from 10am to 2pm, is free and parking is available next door to the hall.
All proceeds go to the branch whose 100 volunteers offer a listening ear, 24/7, to more than 25,000 callers in distress each year.
