Mersea youths consulted on community projects

YOUNGSTERS on Mersea are invited to lend their voice to community projects.
A Youth Interest Group (YIG) will meet at West Mersea Town Council, 10 Melrose Road at 5pm on Thursday.
The meeting will focus on graffiti and street art.
It will also discuss a new skate ramp, improving the trim-trail facility, offering opinions on the mooted Mersea Park.
Youths will also be asked how the community can tackle anti-social behaviour, encourage volunteering and making Mersea a better place to live.
