Quality award for wildlife trust

A CONSERVATION group has been given an award for its quality of teaching.

Essex Wildlife Trust has achieved the Quality Badge awarded by the Council for Learning Outside the Classroom.

The Quality Badge which recognises organisations providing schools with good quality educational experiences and manage risk effectively, and reduces red tape associated with learning outside the classroom, making it easier for teachers to organise school trips.

This is nice to hear but it is a pity Essex Wildlife Trust is restricting access to some of their sites (in a bid to curb flytipping) thereby denying the youngsters the very opportunity they need of using their education.
