A SWIMMING instructor is recovering at home after being run over just feet from her house.
Penny Banks, 48, who runs the Seahorse Swimming Centre in East Mersea, suffered head and leg injuries and had to be airlifted to hospital.
She was walking her three Labradors along East Mersea Road, at about 8am on Monday when she was knocked down by a green Fiesta.
A man from Manningtree has been arrested on suspicion of careless driving.
