CROOKS have stolen a charity box during a break-in at an opticians.

Burglars raided Eyesrite Opticians in Kingsway, Dovercourt, but only made off with a Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) collection tin and tray of badges.

The break in happened at about 8.30pm on Monday November 12 when the burglars smashed through a set of patio doors.

  • Anyone with information is asked to contact investigating officers at Clacton police station on 101.
