Mountain biking daredevil Sam Pilgrim said appearing on ITV dating show Take Me Out was scarier than performing stunts.

Sam, 22, of Sutton Park Avenue, Colchester, bagged a date with scouser Samantha, 20.

The former Philip Morant School pupil became world number Freeride Mountain Biker last year.
