PATIENTS will try on real-life beer goggles at an alcohol awareness event.
The glasses mimic the effects of alcohol on your vision and balance.
Visitors at Colchester General Hospital will get to try them on for Alcohol Awareness Week on Thursday.
The event takes place between 10am and 4pm on a stand outside Senses restaurant in the main hospital in Turner Road.
The NHS recommends that men should not exceed 3-4 units a day on a regular basis, and women should not exceed 2-3 units a day on a regular basis.
