Skateboarding at Highwoods Country Park? Skateboarding at Highwoods Country Park?

PEOPLE have until next Friday to have their say on a BMX and skate park proposed for High Woods Country Park.

Councillors and members of Gilberd Neighbourhood Action Panel believe a facility in the 150 hectare park would offer young people more to do in the area.

A consultation, launched last month, is open until November 30. Submit a response at www.colchester.gov.uk/highwoodswheeledsport

A better place for skateboarders is outside the VAF. There were quite a few of them there yesterday, livening up the otherwise dead vacant area.

I think a skateboard area is a great idea, I think also there should be a KFC and a McDonalds.

A skateboard park at a country park? Lets be done with it and chop all the trees down and turn it into a huge car park.
