Colchester: Teenager 'raped' after leaving town centre bar
3:14pm Sunday 18th November 2012 in News By Andrea Collitt
A TEENAGER has claimed she was raped at a pal’s house after meeting a soldier in Colchester.
The alleged victim, 18, has told detectives she met the man at Missoula bar in Head Street.
The pair left the popular nightspot around 11pm last Thursday and went to a friend’s house in Great Horkesley where the woman alleged she was raped by him.
She was treated at Colchester General Hospital before being questionned by specially trained officers.
The woman has told officers her attacker stated that he was in the Army and came from Southend.
He is described as white, in his 20s, with brown hair, 5ft 8ins tall, and wearing a white T-shirt, beige jumper and jeans.
Police have urged the man to contact them or anyone else with any information at the Sexual Offences Investigation team, North on 101.

It can also be life changing for any man, where he has been accused of rape and the only two people involved are going to have a different opinion on what actually did happen. So a robust investigation is always essential and definitely necessary.
