A MAN arrested following an armed robbery at a bank in Great Clacton has been released on police bail.
The attack happened at Natwest in North Road just after 3pm on Wednesday.
A raider threatened staff with a handgun and forced them to hand over a four-figure sum of cash.
A man, 46, was later arrested on suspicion of robbery at his home in the Clacton area.
He was questioned by detectives at Clacton police station and has been released on bail pending further enquiries until November 22.
