In today's Gazette: A heroic driver pulled a woman out of her car moments before it turned into a fireball.
Dad-of-two Darren Cock saw the car roll over in Mersea Road and pulled the driver from the wreckage moments before the car burst into flames.
* Royal memorabilia - including a slice of Prince William and Kate's wedding cake - is to go under the hammer at Colchester auctioneer Reeman Dansie.
* A fisherman has been fined for breaching EU quotas. Rodney Bowes has been told to pay £5,500 after he admitted neeting 869 kg of sole - he was only allowed to catch 500.
*Six teenagers have been robbed at gunpoint at Hilly Fields in Colchester. The group were sitting in a wooded area when they were approached by a man with a handgun.
