A LINGERIE shop has won a prestigious retail award - beating Dragons’ Den entrepreneur, Theo Paphitis, to the title.

Boutique 65, in Crouch Street, Colchester, scooped Best Concept Store at the International Star Awards, despite being open for just six-months.

It also pipped Angela Knight, who fitted the Middletons for the Royal Wedding, to claim a trophy, certificate and life-long use of the Star Award logo.

Last year, owner Michelle Grant-Richardson, 41, shocked her family by giving up an office job in the BT marketing department to launch her own shop.
