THE parents of a toddler who died tragically at his home have paid tribute to him.
Mason Tipping, 22 months, died at the flat off Hickory Avenue, Greenstead, Colchester, on Friday morning.
Despite the best efforts of his parents and medics to save him, Mason was pronounced dead a short time later at Colchester General Hospital.
Devastated dad Adrian Tipping, 29, said: “We have not been eating, we cannot do anything for ourselves at the moment. We have got our two other little girls and we cannot let them down.”
Mason had been in his bedroom when around 9am mum Christine Tauchert discovered a chest of drawers had fallen onto him.
His parents said they took comfort in the fact they were able to watch medics work on their son but he could not be saved.
