The cars collided on the A120 at the junction with Salmons Lane.
Two women, aged 45 and 18, from the Colchester area, were taken to Colchester General Hospital by ambulance and treated for severe bruising.
A woman PC, aged 32, also needed hospital treatment for minor injuries.

How about using a headline for adults . What is a "cop car" . What a pathetic headline. who's responsible for your headlines, CBBC scriptwriters?
'Four injured in collision involving Police vehicle"
sounds a little more grown up.
