Maldon: Leisure centre staff take to the court for charity
Staff from a Maldon leisure centre went head-to-head in a charity battle of the sexes.
Employees at Blackwater Leisure Centre, in Park Drive, hope to raise more than £300 for Breast Cancer Research UK after taking part in a charity netball match at Plume School.
The boys emerged victorious, recording a comprehensive 27-4 win.
Membership manager Bill Suggitt, who organised the event, thanked all who took part, as well as those who have donated money.
