UPDATE: Man bailed after Highwoods gun attack

A MAN has been arrested after allegedly threatening and attacking teenagers with a handgun.
 

Police were called to Highwoods, Colchester, shortly after 8.30pm on Wednesday after a group of trick or treating teenagers said they had been assaulted and threatened by an armed man.
 

Two teenage boys were threatened one of whom had leg and head injuries after being hit with a gun.
 

Fortunately the injuries were not serious.
 

A teenage girl was also threatened.
 

At 3pm Friday a 26-year-old man, of no fixed address, was arrested on suspicion of a number of firearm offences and is being questioned at Colchester police station.
 

He was released on unconditional bail until December 8, pending further enquiries.
