A man has been found guilty of murdering a former Witham vicar.

Stephen Farrow had admitted killing Rev John Suddards, 59, at his home in South Gloucestershire on February 13, but denied murder.

Farrow said he suffered from a rare personality disorder, which meant he was unable to exercise self control or guilt.

The 48-year-old was today found guilty at Bristol Crown Court of murdering Mr Suddards, who was rector of St Nicolas Church, in Chipping Hill, for ten years.

Of course while Reverend Suddards has departed this world Mister Farrow will have a long and tormented life in it.
