Home burgled as family slept

BURGLARS raided a Wivenhoe home while a young family were inside.
Police are appealing for information after a laptop computer, mobile phone and baby changing bag were stolen from a house on The Avenue.
The burglars disturbed the family, including a three-year-old, and the homeowner then gave chase to try to catch two men.
Anyone with information about the raid which happened at about 1.30am on Sunday is asked to call Colchester police on 101.
