How very rude you are.

Whilst a wouldn't condone what happened. Most of us don't want trick or treaters, it's about time that people realised this.

It's very worrying that such a thing should happen under any circumstances.
.
However those who don't want trick or treaters also have a valid point, but even they don't want the teenagers to be assaulted in any way, or at least the sane ones don't.
.
It's not a tradition in this country to do Trick or Treat, just a recent addition to the scrounging/spending culture. To those who say "don't spoil the fun" I reply "Fun for whom? Elderly folk who have someone thumping on their door after dark? Housewives who have been at work all day then returned to make the evening meal?"
.
If you must let your offspring take part, then stop them if you can at about 10 years of age. After that, it's intimidation and begging, both illegal so far as I am aware.
.
Oh, and I nearly forgot to say that we really need sweets and treats in this increasingly obese country, don't we?
