Exceptional emergency service staff deserve more praise
9:34am Tuesday 30th October 2012 in News
A COUPLE who crashed on the A12 have praised the exceptional emergency service and hospital staff who saved them.
Lawrence Wood and Rachel Fryer were travelling along the Colchester slip road, after the Stanway junction heading into town, when they were involved in an accident.
Injured and stranded on the A12 they were at the mercy of other drivers.
But they need not have worried after receiving exemplary care.
In an open letter, to the Gazette, police, ambulance service and Colchester General Hospital, the couple praised all those involved in their rescue and treatment.
Find out what they had to say in Wednesday's Gazette.

They never get enough praise. Hats off to the couple for their kind words of appreciation
