A NEW project aims to attract visitors to Colchester’s Hythe by promoting the area’s history.
The project in the old port area aims to improve access and celebrate the historic background of the area, making it a destination for both local people and visitors.
Colchester Borough Council has been handed cash from the European Union, via the Transcoast Project, for the scheme.
Research was carried out at the Hythe Community Centre, in Ventura Drive, on Saturday.

Of course, I mean 'couldn't organise...' What's more, CBC were given £100k back in 2000 to develop Gosbecks Archaeological Park. So what did they do with it? Trousered it! That's what. That money has been misappropriated and the people of Colchester are the worse because of it. The Hythe money will go a similar way, no doubt. Don't start me off!

Archaeology doesn't matter in Colchester, but worthless third-rate contemporary art does. And Sdapeze, the champion of our Roman heritage, doesn't want to understand this.
