Home raided after reports of dangerous dogs inside

POLICE in Colchester are focused on tackling the recent spate of dangerous dog attacks in the district.

Officers have been following up on complaints and carrying out investigations, including a raid yesterday.

Police raided the home on Mersea Island after reports of dangerous pitbulls on the premises.

PC Fran Wilson said: “We visited the address after receiving information from the RSPCA stating there may be dangerous pitbull terriers at the property.

“Together with the Colchester Council dog warden we spoke to an extremely co-operative dog owner and were able to establish they were no danger to the public.”

Investigations into a series of dog attacks in the town continue.

It's not the dogs but the dangerous scummy people who own, train and mistreat these poor animals.

Remove the scum from Colchester.
