ARMY medics put their training into practice with a helicopter masterclass.

Colchester-based 16 Medical Regiment, which provides support to 16 Air Assault Brigade, were faced with a real life RAF Chinook helicopter.

The impressive, twin engined, craft landed in Friday Woods, Bounstead Road on Thursday.

The training drill, codenamed Eagles Serpent, is to prepare soldiers who could be deployed anywhere in the world for aid relief or war.
