JOBSEEKERS can find out about career and training opportunities at a free event organised by the Gazette.
We’ve teamed up with Colchester Council and the Department for Work and Pensions to bring you the Essex Careers and Training Event at Colchester Town Hall on Tuesday, September 22.
A range of companies have signed up, including Sure Start Motoring, Essex Police, Colchester Institute, Argos, Catten College, Haart estate agents and Essex Fire Service.
There are still spaces for more businesses to get involved. The free-to-attend event was set up to get people across the county into the best jobs or training opportunities for them.
Kelly Roast, the Gazette’s events manager, said: “The event is ideal for those who have finished school and perhaps are unsure of which path to take. They will be able to discuss further education and apprenticeships.
“There are also an array of jobs on offer from local companies, so if you are unemployed and looking for a job, or want a career change, then this is the ideal place to find the right job .”
The event runs from 10am to 3pm and the first 200 visitors each receive a free goodie bag.
- If you would like your company to have a stall at the event, call Lynda Clark on 01206 508230.
