Rain didn’t stop the crowds turning out for a weekend fun day and classic car show.
The event, to raise money for the Greenstead Community Centre, in Colchester, took place on Magnolia Field in Magnolia Drive.
Music, entertainment, a bouncy castle and kid’s rides kept families entertained.
In total £600 has been raised towards the running of the centre.
Toni Knights, centre co-ordinator, said: “It went really well despite the weather.
“We had a record amount of people turn up from the estate."
Activities for youngsters will be taking place throughout the summer holidays at the community centre.
