YOUNGSTERS donned funky socks for swimming lessons to raise money for charity.

Children from Mini Swimming in Colchester and teacher Tiffany Rogers, covered their feet on Friday and brought in donations for Autism Anglia.

Marketing manager Gunni Graygoose said: “Each termMini Swimming supports a different charity with a company-wide fundraising event. This time it was Autism Anglia’s turn.

“Babies, toddlers and older children, as well as teachers and parents, dug out colourful footwear to raise money for this good cause.

“Autism Anglia is a charity particularly close to Mini Swimming’s heart, as it counts many little ones affected by the condition amongst its swimmers and one of the teachers has a little boy suffering from autism.”

The final total raised by the children and their parents is being calculated and Mini Swimming plans to match the amount.
