A SCHOOLGIRL’S tale of a lonely moon has been transformed into a children’s book.
Fia Danes, seven, wrote her story, the Melancholy Moon, as a homework assignment last October.
The North Primary School pupil was praised by her teacher and headteacher, but thought that was the end of it.
But during the morning assembly yesterday, staff revealed a secret they had been keeping ever since – her story has been turned into a book.
