A CARER who repeatedly exposed himself in full view of his neighbours has been spared jail.

Lee Parker, 48, of Wilson Marriage Road, Colchester, stood naked in a tree house in his garden and carried out sex acts.

At Colchester Magistrates’ Court yesterday, he admitted three counts of indecent exposure.

Parker apologised to the court, claiming he was lonely, devoting his time to caring for his severely disabled daughter.

Colette Harper, prosecuting, said Parker carried out the offences in April last year, May last year and July this year, when police were called.

James O’Toole, mitigating, said: “These incidents acted as a wake-up call. He is ashamed and disgraced at what he has done.

“It was partly motivated by extreme loneliness.

“He is caring for his severely disabled daughter and is under considerable stress.

“There is no justification, but this is some explanation.”

Parker was made the subject of a three-year supervision order and must take part in a course to change his behaviour.

He will also be placed on the sex offenders’ register.

He was spared jail due to his early guilty plea, previous good character and the impact it would have on his daughter, who needs him as a carer.

The court also ordered him to pay £145 costs.
