AN information night is being held to give people an insight into taking part in a hospice cycling event.

St Helena Hospice has launched its 3-2-1 cycle challenge, which will see riders from Colchester to Brussels via Harwich, the Hook of Holland and Amsterdam.

People interested to know more can attend the evening tomorrow night to learn more about the ride, accommodation and support offered.

There are only 100 places available and the tour will be the hospice’s flagship challenge for its 30th year.

The information evening takes place at the Education Centre, Myland Hall, in Barncroft Close, from 6.30pm.

Helen Causer, head of fundraising at St Helena Hospice, said: “More than fifty people have registered their interest in taking part in 3-2-1 Cycle next year, and this is a great opportunity to discover more about the challenge and ask any questions before deciding whether or not it’s for you.”
