AN all-star cast bring children’s favourite Alice In Wonderland to life as panto returns to Clacton for the Easter holidays.
The show stars Britain’s Got Talent winner Ashleigh Butler alongside her performing pooch Sully, Men Behaving Badly’s Leslie Ash and children’s TV presenter Dave Benson Phillips.
Ashleigh – who plays Alice – won BGT in 2012 with performing pooch Pudsey.
Sadly he died last year, but Ashleigh now performs her dog trick act with Sully.
Leslie, who plays the Queen of Hearts, is perhaps best known as played Deborah in BBC sitcom Men Behaving Badly, and has also appeared in Holby City and Where the Heart Is.
While Dave presented the BAFTA-nominated Get Your Own Back and Disney’s Wake Up In The Wild Room.
The show promises to be an all-singing, all-dancing ride through Wonderland as the audience follows Alice down the rabbit hole into a fantastic world inhabited by crazy characters including The Mad Hatter, the White Rabbit, and Tweedle-Dum and Tweedle-Dee.
Alice In Wonderland is at the Princes Theatre this Sunday, April 8, at 3pm and 7pm. Tickets are £17 (£16 children, £50 family of four) available from the box office on 01255 686633.
