ZARA Larsson's British fanbase has certainly rocketed since she popped onto the international scene with her debut album So Good, back in March.

The album flew into the UK album charts at number seven. It included the number one single Symphony which the Swedish star collaborated on with British electronic classical crossover band Clean Bandit.

She continued with success receiving two BRIT Award nominations and an NME Awards nomination for Best New Artist, then completed a tour in the US with Clean Bandit, and was a face and voice on the festival circuit including the The Isle of Wight Festival, Wireless and Parklife Festival.

Now Zara will be coming to Southend, to perform at the Cliffs Pavilion on Sunday October 28.

After recently gracing the cover of NME and Notion magazine, as well as featuring in Time Magazine's 30 most influential teenagers, she has become one of the most promising breakthrough artists of the year.

Zara first gained national fame for winning the 2008 season of the talent show Talang, the Swedish version of Got Talent, at the age of 10.

Larsson signed with the record label TEN Music Group in 2012 and released her debut EP Introducing, in January 2013.

The single Uncover topped the charts in Sweden, Denmark, and Norway. By February 2013, Uncover was certified platinum by Universal Music Sweden and by July 2013, Introducing was certified triple platinum in the country.

The same year Larsson also signed a three-year contract with Epic Records in the United States. She performed at the opening and closing ceremonies in France for UEFA Euro 2016.

Doors at the venue in Station Road, open at 7pm.

Under 16s are permitted in the seated area and must be accompanied by an adult.
