Tomb Raider: Anniversary
Platform Wii
Age 12
RRP £34.99
Many years ago, Lara Croft's first instalment of the Tomb Raider series was
released on the original Playstation.
The world was in awe, we'd never seen anything like it. Now all these years,
a few consoles, and two hit movies starring Angelina Jolie later, Lara Croft
has returned to our very own television sets
in a slightly different fashion!
She generally looks the same, maybe a bit more smoother rather than all those
pixelated features of the body. But the game has had a total revamp, and now
she is controlled by the Wii' touch to master Wii-mote.
The movements in your living room reflect what Lara does on your TV. Using
your Wii remote, and a nunchuck controller, you have to make your way through
the original Tomb Raider game. If you're an experienced gamer, you'll know this
is not a game to miss.
Those that played first time round will find all those memories flooding back
while battling your way through bats, lions, bears, and even a Tyrannosaurs
Rex!
This game I must admit needs practice, but as soon as you 'get' it, it will
become an extremely enjoyable experience indeed.
Those vistas, that music and Miss Croft looking more luscious than ever will
have you grabbing your controls with a new passion you'll be swinging
through the tombs with the greatest of ease. But as always with the Wii-mote,
don't break anything.
