Alvin and the Chipmunks
Platform Playstation2
Age 3
RRP £ 29.99
Right, for mums and dads who immediately thought of black-gloved 70s
singer Alvin Stardust when they saw the advert for the Alvin and the Chipmunks
advert on the TV?
Come on, be honest. Well I did, and guess what. He's not in it. As far as I
know.
And I firmly believe he is not in this fun kids game either, more's the pity.
But there is a lot of music here - after all, this lot are in the music
business, and it's your job to make sure they do it well.
They have to win the Rockathonapalooza after all. Yes, I know - clever
mix of several existing music festivals, but this all about saving The Munks
fave music club.
They are a boy band, and need all the help they can get - a bit like Take
That really, but without the desperate rodents.
You will go going through an array of various key tasks which if you are successful
eventually end with erm, success. Of course it will. Are you up to it?
You have to keep rhythm with their sounds as Alvin and crew work their way
up the showbiz ladder. Remember this is from age three so it is basic, but the
kids will love it, and let's face it, unless you are brain dead, you will have
a good time showing them what to do and encourage their co-ordination.
Just remember, Stardust is not here, unless you count making it to the biggie
festival at the end.
