This is one heavy duty shooter. Not much running and tearing up the place with this one. Tactics, patience and strategy are more important that being able to sprint and take anything that moves.
The enemy is a little more thoughtful, but can sometimes sit in the open and yell “pick me” for your next target. But most of this is distance stuff. A little like the old Delta Force games, but
the bad guys here can aim a little better and will seek cover at times. It’s the usual Americans against the entire baddie world. It’s set in a place called Tajikstan but really, take a look around
and guess where this actually is meant to be.
Teamwork and caution will win the day and it won’t forgive those that like to rush and spray. You may end up preferring call of Duty, but there is a place in the games arena for the soldier sim
with this sort of detail.
It’s not for everyone, but it is good. The polish may not be pilled on, but it is certainly eminently playable if you are in to this type of war game. I suspect older players will take to it a lot quicker than the majority of teenagers. So, dads. Get this game and show junior how it’s done in the real world.
Just some practice before you show off too much though.
