So, what’s better than a pair of superheroes going out there and saving their world. How about two pairs of do-gooders? Not good enough, so let’s go for three then.
In Move Heroes, we find Ratchet and Clank, sort of teamed up with Jak and Daxter plus Sly and Bentley. They are sucked out of their own familiar territories and sent to a new world where they get to compete in a myriad of large mini-games.
It’s is both entertaining and deadly frustrating as you have to master not just the skills of one pairing, but three. And that is either part of the fun or part of the nightmare with all those controls to sort out.
The learning curve is kind though, so the frustration will generally be down to you being useless rather than the game throwing up impossible scenarios.
Age 12 remember, so the very little ones may find it tough. Despite the styling it really isn’t for the very small. There is a lot of shooting stuff like robots and blowing things up.
But this crossover game could set a new precedent with many other developers thinking about their characters teaming up. Sonic and Justice League anyone?
Anyway, here they take part in what is being called the first annual inter-universal hero games to find out who is the best hero. And they have to protect baby aliens too.
Oh, and guess what. You get to use your Move wand thing, as if that wasn’t already amazingly obvious. From the title people.
