NHL 11 is the newest addition to the NHL collection by EA Sports and has proven to be the best so far.
It comes with brand new crisp graphics and realistic physics including the never before seen broken sticks.
If you have played any of the previous NHL games before then you may have to have a quick recap through the tutorial mode to get used to some new features now available.
Firstly I would mention the new face-off controls which let you either shoot right from the start which can get you a quick goal, or can tie up your opponent and let your team mates skate in and collect the puck.
It still comes with the Be-a-Pro mode which you can either start off as a pro in the NHL or work up to the dreaded drafting day by starting in a CHL team.
You can also create your Ultimate Team by trading player cards like they are Pokemon in order to get and play, but more importantly win with your powerhouse team.
The GM mode is still in place which is pretty much a Championship Manager mode for professional ice hockey where you can draft players in and out of your team to win some of the many awards which are offered, with the Stanley Cup obviously being your main goal.
