Tiger Woods then. Hands up who knows what he does for a living. OK, hands up those who remember he was a golfer.
You’d be forgiven for forgetting this man was once the world’s best player, setting greens and fairways alight with his ball play.
Not so much now though thanks to his completely different style of ball, well, you get the idea.
But, and this is a big but, the golf game that still loyally carries his name remains the world standard others aspire to.
Over the years, this has been the golf game to be had, and that remains true once more with PGA Tour 11. And now you get the Ryder Cup.
It supports the new Motion Controller giving gamers an authentic interactive swing experience.
Players, tournaments, tweaks – they are all in there in countless droves, and it really does play so, so well. And it should too – EA has been at it since 1986 and with Tiger since PGA Tour 99.
Players have the ability to participate in team play and now be able to take a team online.
A first for the franchise, this all-new mode will allow up to 24 players to compete head-to-head as members of team. Team members can also talk strategy with their teammates over the PlayStation Network.
True View also creates the most immersive and authentic golf experience in any video game – you are no longer watching the golfer, you are the golfer, the company said.
And talk about success, they have shifted an astonishing 25 million units since Tiger 99.
