Games made from movies, and the other way round, is so common these days that the Last Airbender couldn’t be left out.
Who knew there was once lots of air benders around – those who could, erm, bend air.
Well, we are down to the last one by the time this movie came out, so let’s hope he is still OK, and perhaps training more air benders to keep the ancient art going.
The Last Airbender video game coincides with the release of the new adventure movie directed by M. Night Shyamalan.
Now don’t let the fact this guy has made so many duffers since The Sixth Sense. Oh, but the way, Bruce dies at the start. Who knew?
Anyway, Airbender is set in a legendary world of four Nations, handily they are Water, Air, Earth and Fire.
A select few known as benders have the ability to manipulate their native element. Once in a generation comes a chosen one who has the ability to manipulate all four elements – and as the player you take on these extraordinary characters – play as Aang, Zuko and The Blue Spirit.
The game follows the intertwined destinies of Aang and Zuko as you step into their world and battle through the locations from the movie - as Zuko, you use destructive Firebending powers and as Aang you use amazing Airbending powers! But especially air bending, hence the title. Wonder what Bender from Futurama would be?
Back on track, and you will be taking an epic journey to see who will dominate in the fight to destroy the fire nation in the ending ultimate battle. Right on.
