Two of the nastiest scariest creatures to ever make a cinema screen come together for an oddball combo that will leave some delighted and others wondering what was the point?
Everything you saw in the movie collections featuring the aliens and predators are here for your fun. It’s 18-rated so you know it’s going to be fairly gory.
But it is an odd game. I can’t make up my mind about it.
In the aliens section, you get to be a marine with those blipping alien tracking devices and you get to shoot aliens when they burst through doors and walls.
However, there is a lot of hand holding here. There doesn’t appear to be to much freedom to roam the dark and dingy sets looking for trouble.
When it arrives, it is hectic and action packed, but just doesn’t draw you in too well. Perhaps it’s all too dark.
There are some great fright moments, don’t get me wrong. But it seems empty.
There’s gore, shooting and sneaking, yet I think it really is going to be one just for the fans of the genre.
You do get to play the beasts too which is a bonus. It sounds right too – the gatgat of the pulse rifle is spot on, and the noises from the darkness can make you hang on tight.
I would say this is a fun game for those who love to play alien and predator games, but for the rest of us, I would just “get to da choppa” and leave well alone.
