Ware it's at
Emily-Jane Ware'Ware' to see in the New Year
Posted by Emily-Jane Ware at 12:28pm on Mon 24 Dec 07
LOOKING for somewhere great to see the New Year in?
Ware it's At brings you a run-down of what some of the clubs and pubs are offering this New Year's Eve.
If you want to be like Cinders and go to the ball then Club Valentinos in St Helens Lane, Colchester, and Route in Queen Street, Colchester, are both holding a Black and White Ball.
Bringing the bling to Braintree is Chicago Rock Cafe in Charter Way, Freeport, as it holds its Ice Ball. Clubbers can dress to impress and party the night away in style.
Dukes Genesis in Dukes Street, Chelmsford, will not only be counting down the New Year but will also be celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2008. Clubbers will be treated to party hats, balloons, party poppers, champagne, glowsticks and confetti cannons to ensure the New Year starts with a blast!
Fancy dressing up as your favourite film star or movie character? Head to Greenlands, better known as the Vodka Bar in St John's Street, Colchester, as it will seeing off the year with a fancy dress theme party.
HedKandi DJs Tony Nicholls, Tony P and percussionist Afro Buddha will be back at Escape in Copford, near Colchester, and Kiss FM's Chappers and DJ Paul Foster will be filling the Hippodrome in Colchester's High Street, with all the latest music.
And for clubbers who think they have the staying power to party til the morning, the Sky Rooms, also in Colchester's High Street, will be celebrating the New Year until 10am on New Year's Day.
In fact, most of the clubs, pubs and bars in your area will be holding special nights, so make sure you check out your local haunts to see what's going on.
Ware it's At for me? I'll be celebrating the New Year in style at Route's Black and White ball where James B along with guest DJs will be mixing up the latest tunes including hip-hop, R'n'B and UK Garage, in not one but two rooms.
