A Significant band at Colchester's Bull

ACOUSTIC music is on the menu for a monthly event at the Bull in Colchester.

The Significant Others are a five-piece band featuring artists known for other Colchester groups. They are Jeanette Lynes, of Lady Bird and the Larks; Anton Pace, of the Judith Charmers; Peter “Nelson” Nice, of Surfquake; Paul Rutterford, of the Fabs and the Judith Charmers; and Grahame Andrew, also of the Fabs.

Taking its sound from the cowboy stylings of the Forties, they will appear alongside Wivenhoe group the Band of Fools, a three-piece whose influences include Balkan, Breton, Klezmer, Irish, Gypsy and Russian music. The gig will take place at the Crouch Street venue on Tuesday, from 7pm until 11pm.
