IF you need any help to mark the golden anniversary of the Fab Four, go to Colchester’s Charter Hall tomorrow.
Celebrating 50 years of the world’s most famous group, the Magic of the Beatles is a two-hour spectacular.
It recreates the live concert shows of John, Paul, George and Ringo, which generated the hits and the hysteria.
The production is on a UK-wide tour visiting towns and, in some cases, venues where the Beatles played during the early Sixties.
The Magic of the Beatles offers an insight into Beatlemania, from the Fab Four’s mop-top roots to the psychedelia of Sgt Pepper and beyond.
For each show, the cast choose from a list of Beatles hits which have together sold 50 million copies.
Who could have imagined what was to come when the world was introduced to the Beatles in 1960?
Transferring their incredible live shows from residencies in Hamburg to the now-famous Cavern Club in Liverpool, they were eventually discovered by Brian Epstein and signed by George Martin.
The rest, as they say, is rock and pop history.
