NOT even a spot of rain could put people off finding more about the jobs advertised in the Echo.
More than 500 people went along to the Basildon Centre, in St Martins Square, Basildon, yesterday, to visit the Echo jobs fair and find out more about the careers and training opportunities available.
Exhibitors included the Royal Bank of Scotland, the Royal Air Force and Bairstow Eves estate agents.
Sarah Smith, from the Echo's digital media team, showed visitors how to upload their details on CV Quest, available through the Echo website, www.echo-news.co.uk/cvquest Ginette May, recruitment supervisor at the Echo, said: "It's been absolutely wonderful.
"This is the first job fair we have had in Basildon for a long time and it's been a great success."
