Rally taster experience

About your rally taster experience

Enjoy approximately 2 ½ hours at our venue, experiencing the thrills of rallying, with the opportunity to drive at high speeds on a loose surface. You will drive 2 cars – front and rear wheel drive during which you will experience power slides and handbrake turns. You will then experience a demonstration passenger ride from one of our professional instructors. 

Also available at £15 and if time allows, the opportunity of a high speed demonstration ride for your spectators.

Your rally experience will be shared with other drivers on the day.

Your action packed session at Langley Park Rally School

On arrival meet the staff and instructors. You will be asked to sign on and attend a short safety briefing.  We will provide you with a racing overall and helmet. You will have 2 sessions of rally driving. Included in this is a familiarisation lap with an instructor.
Refreshments are available to purchase.

When can you go?

Taster courses are available on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Bad weather conditions

This activity is dependent on appropriate weather conditions. If we have to cancel your session we will book you in for another convenient time.

Driver’s restrictions

Drivers must hold a full driving licence. Rally driving is not suitable for those with heart problems. There is a maximum weight limit of 102kg (16st). The maximum height is 1.93m (6ft 4”) and minimum 1.52.
You will be asked to sign a disclaimer on the day as you will not be covered for damage caused as a result of reckless or negligent driving.

Spectators

You are welcome to bring spectators with you including children bit must be kept under strict supervision. Please advise us if you plan to bring more than three. Sorry no dogs allowed.

Our course is held in open countryside in the village of Langley Lower Green just 20 minutes off the M11 J8  (Bishop’s Stortford) or J10 (Duxford) and in easy reach of Essex, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire.
