Braintree district: Centre for severely bullied children due to open in 2014
A charity hopes to set up the district’s first learning centre for severely bullied children by 2014.
Red Balloon was granted planning permission to convert two flats in Cressing Road, Braintree, last year, to educate children who are too frightened
to go to school.
It is providing online counselling and education via Red Balloon of the Air but the charity is still working to raise enough money to open the education centre.
Tony Dunn, trustee and director of Red Balloon Braintree, said it needs to raise between £10,000 and £12,000 by next August.
